Maine Men's Hockey

Ok, so Friday night we were watching the hockey game on TV. We told Lexie to say "Go Black Bears". So she shot her fist up in the air and said, just as loud and proud as she could "Go Blackberries"! We of course laughed at her, which she liked, so then she yelled "GO, GO, GO"! I think we have a little sports fanatic on our hands!

She stayed at my parents house last night and this morning when she got up at6:45, Dad called me on my way to work so I could talk to her. She melted my heart with 3 words in her sweet little voice "Good Mornin Mumma!" It's amazing how such a small sentence could take me throughout my whole day with a smile on my face! But that made my whole day.

She is such a sweet baby. Tonight, as she was getting ready to fall asleep, she sat up in her crib, grabbed her Dora pillow and said "Hi Dora!", and then she kissed Dora and hugged her as hard as she could, and then said"Love me too." So I take it she wants her Dora pillow to love her! LOL. Gosh, being a parent is so great!

Warmed our Hearts

Last night Lexie told Millard and I that she loved us without being prompted for the first time! She said "I Lub you Daddy, I Lub you Mumma"! We sat there and grinned like fools for the longest time! She is getting to be such a big girl. She can also say some of her ABC's now. And she can count to 13!

Being a Parent

Being a mom is the most wonderful thing in the world. Lexie is such a joy in our lives. I've decided to create this blog so as to share our blessings with our friends and family, and to keep a written memory of things about Lexie.
